Covid-19 and Anxiety disorder

It is a fact that millions of people in the world suffer from psychiatric disorders. The Covid-19 Pandemic is making life very difficult for those who are mentally ill. Covid-19 and mental health challenges have become major problems these days. Many people are suffering from anxiety disorder due to the current situation of covid-19. There are several different kinds of medically recognized psychiatric illnesses. Only anxiety disorders will be discussed in this article.

Anxiety The disorder is a disease in which the body responds abnormally to stress. Every day, humans are exposed to stressors. Workplace tension, family stress, financial stress, religious stress, marriage stress, parenting stress, and a variety of other stressors are all factors to consider. Stress feels similar to a sled hammer slamming into the body. It can be fatal if not treated. Your overall fitness depends on how your body responds to these stressors.

The lives of millions of people got affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. The Covid-19 is developing anxiety and fear among the people. The intense fear of becoming sick and dying, the fear of missing a lucrative job, the fear of losing a loved one to illness and death, the fear of losing your pension if the economy tanked, the fear that the family's essential supplies will run out, famine is the fear of not getting enough food to survive, fear of homelessness in this critical condition. Isolation from friends and families is a significant issue, your fear of being judged negatively by society if you test positive for Covid-19, the fear of not being able to pay your workers or keep your small company open due to financial constraints. These stressors are enough to cause every person to develop an anxiety disorder. In the most basic nature, anxiety disorder is the body's negative reaction to stress. It's similar to the fight-or-flight approach to stress. A person's brain will only bear too much before he or she suffers from a nervous breakdown.

Below are the top three symptoms an individual might have contracted the Covid-19 virus, according to Dr. Fauci and Dr. Birx (President Trump's Covid-19 Task Force):

  • Fever
  • Dry cough
  • Shortness of breath

They've also discovered that each patient can feel fatigued, chills, stomach aches, and redness around the eyes, fever, nausea, diarrhea, and extreme abdominal pain during the Covid-19 attack.

It's impossible to conclude if all patients have the Covid-19 virus without testing because of these common symptoms and asymptomatic carriers. Since the signs are too similar, people are being advised to believe that everybody has the virus.

Anxiety disorder shows up in the body in a variety of forms. The following symptoms are normal in patients who are under a lot of stress:

  • Muscle Pains
  • Headache
  • Nausea and fatigue
  • Fever due to a weakened immune system
  • Diarrhea
  • Breathing problems
  • Chest tightness
  • Muscle fatigue in the legs and arms
  • Angry and frustrated outbursts

When a person believes they have Covid-19, they are actually suffering from a serious anxiety disorder. The first step is to make an appointment with your doctor and seek medical advice. Cut out both social media and mass media from your life, exercising daily, avoiding caffeine, and having adequate sleep are all moves you can take. There are also non-addictive prescriptions available from the doctor that can help relax your body and relieve anxiety.

The Covid-19 and Anxiety Disorders are very serious challenges and many who suffer from mental disorders are suffering due to government shutdowns, workplace layoffs, and illness. The main objective of this article was to spread awareness about anxiety disorder and Covid-19, and how can we differentiate between them. Everyone in a pandemic is worried about his/her health and needs to stop contracting a potentially deadly illness, but we shouldn't be concerned about Covid-19. Instead, we must take precautions to ensure our safety. Stay at home and stay healthy, and continue praying to God to get rid of the deadly Covid-19 viral disease from the world as soon as possible.
